As per Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Emergency Amendment requirement, security has been heightened for all flights bound to USA. At Taoyuan airport, not only remains the current initial security check procedure before immigration control, the second security check at boarding gate is also bringing into practice. The continuous screening of passengers must include the removal of his/her footwear, outer coats and jackets. All electrical/electronic items discovered during the physical search of accessible property must be inspected separately.

Passengers are advised to complete check-in procedure at least three (3) hours prior to the scheduled departure time. We also encourage passengers to reach boarding gate earlier.
