 Q:How can I find out my membership number ? 
 A:You will receive a temporary card with your membership number on it within two to four weeks after we receive your application form. Alternatively, you can find your number on the Retrieve Membership Number page. 
 Q:How do I join the Evergreen Club ? 
 A:

Get an application form from any EVA Air office, at our airport check-in counters, from one of the cabin crew during a flight, from an Evergreen Club Service Center, or online through EVA Air's Web site. Simply complete the form and mail or fax it to the Evergreen Club Service Center nearest you for processing. If you join online, your enrollment will be registered instantly. You will receive your membership number right away.

 Q:Is there an enrollment fee? Who is eligible to become an Evergreen Club member ? 
 A:

No, there is no enrollment fee. Anyone two years of age or older can become an Evergreen Club member. Your permanent membership card will be issued once your first flown mileage with EVA Air has been credited to your account.

 Q:Can I earn miles before my enrollment? 
 A:

Yes, international flights taken during the six months preceding membership application can earn miles. Simply send photocopies of the relevant EVA Air tickets with your application form.

 
 Q:What functions are provided in the Members-only Area? 
 A:
  1. Mileage Data Inquiry
  2. Mileage Correction (for EVA Air's international flights)
  3. Nominee Registered (You must submit an On-line Service Form in advance)
  4. Transfer/Return Electronic Miles or Electronic Upgrade Certificates
    (You have to apply for On-line Service in advance and the nominees must be listed as effective nominees in your account. *Print "Nominee Register Application Form"; Print  "On-line Service Form" )
  5. Apply for an E-Mileage Statement.
  6. Update Personal Data
    (change your e-mail address, postal address or password etc.)
  7. Card Re-issuance (Green Card members can print temporary cards.)


 

 
 Q:How do I create a password for the Members-only Area ? 
 A:You set your password when you apply to join the Evergreen Club online. You can also go to the Create Password page to set the password. (Taiwanese members of the Evergreen Club need to provide their national ID card number while non-Taiwanese members must provide a passport number.) 
 Q:Can I earn miles using group tickets? What other kinds of tickets do not earn mileage ? 
 A:

Group tickets are not eligible for mileage credit. In addition, the following ticket types do not earn mileage:

  • Various free and special-offer tickets, including award tickets, tickets with no face value and free or discount travel/airline industry tickets.
  • Infant tickets.
  • Charter tickets.
  • Barter tickets.
  • Special promotional fare tickets.
    e.g. Holding R/H class booking class code tickets.
  • For any promotional tickets, the promotion's regulations will prevail.
 
 Q:I  forgot to provide my membership number when I made a reservation. How can I claim my mileage ? 
 A:
  1. Mail or Fax
    Just send copies of your EVA Air ticket and boarding pass or receipts from EVA Air partners, along with your membership number, to your Evergreen Club Service Center and request a mileage correction. Please check your next statement to make sure the mileage concerned has been correctly credited.
  2. Mileage Correction using the Members-only Area
    If you have traveled on an international flight with EVA Air within the last six months but the mileage for that flight has not been credited, please follow the instructions on the Mileage Correction page and input the necessary data to complete the mileage credit for yourself or another member.
 
 Q:How do I know my mileage has been properly credited ? 
 A:
  1. A member who has registered a valid e-mail address in his/her member data will receive monthly Electronic Mileage Statements.
  2. A member who has not registered an e-mail address in his/her member data will receive Mileage Statements via postal mail.
    ◎Monthly Mileage Statements will be sent via postal mail to Gold and Diamond Card members.
    ◎Silver and Green Card members will receive Mileage Statement via postal mail every six months in January and July.
  3. Mileage Statements will show traveling details with EVA Air and partners during the current statement period, along with total accumulated mileage, upgrade certificate balance and mileage redemption history. Members will not receive a Mileage Statement if the Evergreen Club account does not have any traveling credits or mileage changes during the statement period.

  4. You can check your mileage online when you visit the Members-only Area.
 
 Q:Can I earn bonus mileage without taking an EVA Air flight ? 
 A:Yes, you can earn bonus miles by flying with our partner airlines and using Evergreen Club program credit cards, as well as through hotels, car rental agencies and other services provided by Evergreen Club partners. 
 Q:How do I get mileage credited to my account automatically ? 
 A:
  1. Simply provide your membership number every time you make a reservation with EVA Air and our partner airlines, participating hotels and car rental agencies.
  2. To ensure your account is credited properly, please remember to always make reservations giving your name exactly as it appears in your Evergreen Club enrollment data. Please contact your Evergreen Club Service Center immediately if you need to change or update your name.
 
 Q:How long are my Evergreen Club miles valid ? 
 A:Mileage earned by traveling or partners on or after Jan. 1, 2003  will be retained for 5 years. Earned mileage within its validity is redeemable. The expired mileage will be automatically cancelled at the end of the calendar year without notice.

 A:Only mileage earned on EVA Air's international flights can be credited toward membership upgrades and renewals. Bonus miles earned with promotional offers and partners can only be redeemed through the awards program. 
 Q:How much time do I have to make a mileage correction ? 
 A:Missing mileage must be claimed within six months of the actual date flown or, for non-airline partners, within six months of the actual date of mileage-earning expenditures. 
 Q:Are mileage and electronic upgrade certificates also transferable? 
 A:
  1. Yes. In order to protect membership rights, a list of mileage or electronic upgrade certificates nominees must be submitted to Evergreen Club before transferring mileage or upgrade certificates.

  2. The nominees must be Evergreen Club members and listed as effective nominees in the transferor's account before transferring mileage or upgrade certificates.

  3. Your own mileage and the transferred mileage from other member cannot be combined. The original membership number will be listed with the transferred mileage in your account.

 


 

 
 Q:How do I use my mileage ? 
 A:
  1. Mileage or Diamond Card electronic upgrade certificates will be auto-deducted when you make a reservation and request a free upgrade. The passenger name must match the Evergreen Club membership name.(Click here for details of how to order a free upgrade
  2. You can apply for an upgrade at the airport if you have sufficient mileage or electronic upgrade certificates.
  3. At the check-in counter, Silver/Gold/Diamond card member can use their own mileage to invite their companions to use EVA Air's VIP Lounges. For airports outside Taiwan, VIP Lounge facilities can only be used during EVA Air's VIP Lounge operating times.)
  4. Please go to any EVA Air ticketing counter (airport ticketing counters excluded) to collect your free tickets. Mileage will be auto-deducted when free tickets are issued. (Click here for details of how to order an Award Ticket
  5. Please fill out a Hotel Accommodation Voucher Application Form at any EVA Air ticketing counter (except at airports) to redeem miles for a hotel accommodation voucher. (Click here for details of how to order a Free Hotel Accommodation Voucher )
 
 Q:Why can e-mileage be transferred but not used in combination with mileage that bears a different membership number?  
 A:The e-mileage originating with different members may not be combined. For example, Mr. Chen has 40,000 miles and Mrs. Chen has 20,000 miles. Mrs. Chen is traveling from Taipei to Los Angeles, and wants a free upgrade from Evergreen Deluxe Class to Business Class (a cost of 30,000 miles.) This could be possible if Mr. Chen transfers 30,000 of his miles to Mrs. Chen. He cannot transfer just 10,000 miles and use those miles plus Mrs. Chen's 20,000 to secure the free upgrade. 
 Q:What are the benefits of mileage accumulation ? 
 A:You can redeem your mileage to gain free tickets, free upgrades and free hotel accommodation vouchers; Diamond Card members gain free upgrades by using electronic upgrade certificates. 
 Q:Why am I not receiving mail from the Evergreen Club? 
 A:

You may have forgotten to update your mailing address.

  1. Please call your Evergreen Club Service Center and update your address immediately. Alternatively, fax or mail your new address, along with your membership number, to your Evergreen Club Service Center.
